We like beer. And we like making things. We're the kind of guys who mow our own lawns, work on our own cars, and fix our own plumbing. We don't want to pay someone else to do something for us. We'd rather do it ourselves.
And that's what led us to homebrewing. Parkside Brewing is two friends who love beer, and who feel especially passionate about Irish and English ales. After years of hunting down pubs with Beamish and Tetley's on tap, we started dreaming about making our own beer, and using fresh domestic ingredients to riff on the styles of the British Isles.
In 2009, we cobbled together some gear, jerry-rigged a brewing system, and turned the dream into reality with the production of our first batch. And we've been at it ever since, going all-grain by our fifth brew, and cooking up twelve different beers in the first twelve months.
We're Parkside Brewing, in the Parkside neighborhood of San Francisco, and we might just make the best beer you've never had!
